I promise you this is the last blog post about my digital scrapbooking for a while, I think I might becoming a bit of a bore!!
I just wanted to double check that all of you have been looking at Ali's blog this week. I was so super excited when I found out she was doing a freebie, her timing was impeccable. I downloaded both her brush and her template straight away. I then got cracking and whipped up some layouts.
So here are my three layouts using the same template.
This one, I totally copied Ali's example, spookily it looks far too much like Ali did it herself, which I suppose she did. I love it, but just feel it is not very me.
I then thought it would be nice to do a black and white one. Yes, that is my son, I was obviously so desperate to have a girl - note hair clip in his hair!! In my defence, his fringe was so long I was just keeping it out of his eyes!!
I am really pleased with how this one turned out too.
I am thrilled that even with a template, you can make it your own. I am rather enjoying the template route, super easy, super quick and great for catching up - oh yes - you know what I am going to say.............those baby albums!!! Although I must say I am getting tons of baby pages done, yippee, maybe I will be done one day soon.
So have a wonderful weekend and no more digi talk next week, I promise.
wow... these are just amazing...
ReplyDeleteuhmmm, really want to give this a try too :)
Well, that is funny! Usually you just refer to the kids as 'oompa loompas' and now I see in that one LO your daughter's name is Sophia - we just had a new baby girl a week ago and that is what we named OUR newest 'oompa loompa'!!
ReplyDeleteThese are really fun Tara! Love seeing your different versions of one layout~
ReplyDeleteAnd I for one, wouldn't mind seeing more at all:)
