Liberty of London

Liberty of London or Liberty, (as it is know in England) has got to be one of my all time favourite shops. Situated on Regent Street, it was founded in 1875, which is an incredible 134 years ago. If you ever find yourself in London, it is the one shop that I urge you to visit. It is a wonderful department store, selling a huge array of products. Clothes, home wares, fabric and trims, stationary, rugs, toys, make-up, jewellery and even fresh flowers. Now if the products weren't enough to draw you to the shop, the building definitely would, it is STUNNING on both the outside............

and the inside..........

It is famous for its wonderful pattern prints but also sells other exciting, hard-to-find brands.

This was the first thing I ever owned from Liberty, the light pink photo frame on the left. I received it on my 14th Birthday and became hooked. I then saved up all my pocket money to buy the William Morris print one. I am not sure why I have still got them, they are so English and so dated but I can't bare to part with them...............

So I got very excited when I learnt that Liberty was doing an exclusive line for Target, you have got to go and check it out. I fell in love with these cushions............

You can tell that Prince Charming is away, sneaking pink into the house, hopefully he wont notice!!!

I also couldn't resist this beautiful little romper for baby OL.......

or this one...............

I had to restrain myself as I rather liked the look of the watering can, the picnic plates, the planters and the nighties. I think I am going to have to stop going into Target!!

You just keep holding on to those wonderful frames of yours :-) They are waaayyy cute!!! (Which in fact is the official design term for such goodies... I learned it at Uni...thihi)
