I am not sure why I bring this torture on myself each month, I am not sure why I just don't sign up to random.org and generate a number to be the winner. I am sure it is madness on my part, each month I spend hours and hours debating who's layout should win. Going back and forth, back and forth but, I still think it is the way to do it. I just know that I would prefer to win because someone liked my layout rather than being chosen by a computer.
Anyway, this month Teresa's layout just kept jumping out at me. I think it is stunning. The photograph is of her in-laws when they were younger, I just LOVE it. I love the paper, the embellishments, the photo and the whole sentiment - it struck a cord. So huge congratulations Teresa, you are our April's Guest Designer, please just send me a quick email with your address so that I can get the kit out to you. BUT......................February was a special month, in February everyone was in fact a winner.
You see, in February we celebrated six months of sketches from the ever so wonderful and talented Julie Bonner. Six months, I really can't quite believe that. So in honour of that little milestone, I wanted to send everyone who entered a little prize. A small token of thanks for supporting my little site.
I know that it takes quite a bit of effort to get the layouts done, then to photograph them, then to get them on your blog and then finally to link them to my blog. Especially with everything else going on in our busy, hectic lives, so I really thank you very much. Please just send me a quick email with your address so that I can get those prizes out to you.
Onto March's sketch, here it is:
and here is my take on the sketch, everything I used is from the Main Kit, (apart from some alphabet stamps and brown ink):
Just to re-cap on the rules, anyone can enter. You do not have to use or buy a Magpie Club kit, all layouts need to be uploaded by the 31st March. The prize is a spot as our Guest Designer for the following month. I wish you all the best of luck and happy scrapping.
