One of the tasks for my
Yesterday and Today class was to do a 'day in your life'. I have been putting it off for weeks and then on Monday decided to gracefully accept my mission. It was actually far more fun than I thought it would be and looking through the photos and my notes, I have learnt quite a bit about myself.
I learnt that I drink a lot of tea, I put that down to being English.....
I learnt that I have a good enough relationship with the vegetable chap at the supermarket to ask him to take a photo of me inspecting the carrots!!
I learnt that I can take 'Ali Edwards' style self-portraits......
I learnt that I always seem to be either packing or emptying the dishwasher - probably due to all those cups of tea......
I learnt that I can't stop myself taking photos of this little man, baby OL. LOVE HIM to bits..
I urge you to give it a go. It is so interesting to learn these little tidbits about oneself.
your pictures made me smile. and *almost* made me wish I had a baby again. but since my youngest are 17, I think I'll just be patient and wait for grandkids someday!
ReplyDeleteI love your photos!!! I think the tea thing probably does have to do with being English. :) That last photo of baby OL just made me smile!! He is so cute!! I had wrist toys like that for my little one too!
ReplyDeleteSo, here's a question... what do you miss most from England?? Do you have family here? From photos I have seen and from the movies, it looks beautiful.
Oh my gosh--I love the self-portrait of you and baby OL! What a little lovebug! **kiss**
ReplyDeleteJust read Michelle's post above--it might be fun for you to do a little post about England! What you miss, when/if you plan to move back, your thoughts on Kate Middleton (ha)--I think a post about England would be fascinating!
OMG I've always wanted to do one of those but get lazy half way though. Cool photos!!!
ReplyDeleteBaby OL is just too cute! I love his smile!
ReplyDeletegreat photos!
ReplyDeleteI love your "day in the life" photos...How fun to have a record of your life. Your little baby is just the most adorable little thing!
ReplyDeleteI will have to try this --- maybe one weekend day when it seems like all I do is run from one kid's activity to the next!!
ReplyDeleteAdorable photo of little OL!
Oh, he is too cute! I love the idea of capturing one day, just an average day, something that seems so ordinary may be fondly remembered in the future.
