February Sketch Competition

As you probably remember, Brigitte won the sketch competition last month. The kit travelled a long way to get to her, over in The Netherlands. But it arrived safely and she did us proud, her layouts are fabulous.
I asked Brigitte the standard Magpie Questions, here they are:

What is your favourite Scrapbooking item:

Cat’s eye ink pad colour Sepia Black. I ink almost all my papers with it.

How many pages on average do you do a month:

It depends on my DT work but most of the time I make app. 8-10 pages a month.

Where do you scrapbook and do you listen to music, watch TV whilst doing it:

I used to have my own room but recently we changed it in a playroom for the boys. Now I am scrapping and watching TV in the dinning room.

What drink do you order if you ever go into Starbucks;

We haven’t got a Starbucks in the neighbourhood but last week I visited Starbucks for the very First time in France. I do love coffee but only black coffee so that is what I ordered (with a muffin, yammie).

Who would you chose for Man of the Month:

Difficult one, let me say Cupid because it is almost Valentine.

I would like to thank Brigitte very much for playing along with our little challenge and keeping the torch alive on the Guest Designing front. I must say that I am thoroughly enjoying this little thing that we do, I think it brings real variety to our designer spots. Here are the fabulous layouts I mentioned earlier:

Ok, now on to the tricky part, well for me anyway. This month was a tough one, there were so many layouts and there were all really good. But one kept jumping out at me, I kept going back to it again and again. So, without further a do, this months winner is Shamma, I am just loving her layout. I love the colours, the papers, the embellishments, the photo. I just think it is super. Huge congratulations Shamma, please send me an email with your address so that I can get the March CC kit out to you. And, thank you to all of you for entering, it wouldn't be as much fun if you didn't.

Here's Shamma's layout:

Here is the February's sketch by our wonderful Julie Bonner. It's a cracker. I haven't had a chance to play along with it yet but I can't wait.
Here is Julie's example:

And here is Piradee's:

Good Luck my fellow Magpies and have a wonderful weekend.
