I wonder if you have THAT list? That is a list of things that you are always keeping your eye out for. You may have seen plenty around but you haven't found the one. I have been on the look out for a nice gravy boat, I know that they are kind of old fashioned but I feel it is the one thing missing from my Sunday roasts. I have seen a lot like these.......
........very pretty but they wouldn't really go with the rest of my serving bits. Then to my utmost respect, Emma Bridgewater brought this out at the beginning of the year. I feel my search may at last be over, I have got to be getting myself one of these beauties...............
There are more recent additions to my LIST. I am keeping my eye out for a nice child waffle maker........
and a gorgeous pink typewriter..............

a set of 6" cake plates
a second hand but immaculate-never-been-used-magimix
some cushions for my sofa
a nice kitchen clock
a hand painted Italian jug
some 70's inspired coffee cups in dark brown or bottle green
the perfect pair of jeans that I don't have to keep pulling up to be half decent
a decent toaster
mmmmmm, I could keep going!!!
Tell me I am not alone, you must have one of those lists?? Have a happy Wednesday.
Oh yes, I have such a list and now I have to add that gravy boat to my list (even though I have 2 gravy boats already).
ReplyDeleteA necklace of twisted gold wire and small jade beads...haven't found it yet, a small car and being brave enough to drive it here, a flat with a balcony and a country house in France, Portugal, Spain...or... This is a good exercise.
