I had forgotten how much time little ones take up. How it takes forever to get out of the door, how hard it is to get anything done unless they are asleep. I had also forgotten how hard it is to get up in the mornings after little or no sleep but.............just looking at baby Oompa Loompa makes it all worth while.
Second O.L had his 4th Birthday. I had seen this wonderful idea for a 'photo wall' on
Jamie Waters blog a couple of years ago. I thought it was such a fabulous idea, you basically put photographs of your child growing up over the years. So the night before his birthday I was busy doing this. He absolutely LOVED it when he came downstairs in the morning, I will definitely be doing it for all of them each year. (I just used little bits of masking tape to attach them to the glass).
Biggest OL hijacked his toy.....
But the Birthday Boy didn't mind, he was having far too much fun with the box!!
It's always the way, why we just don't buy them large boxes I am not quite sure!!
