I Did It.............

It may have taken five months but I have done it, yay, I have reached my goal weight.

In August I did a post about this photograph I found of me at school. Not a great photo but it totally inspired me to try to become a thin person again. I can't actually remember ever being this skinny and was totally struck by how thin I was in this photo.

This is what I wrote in that post:

So I went to the bookshelf, blew the dust off my old copy of the South Beach Diet and got reading. I then wondered how much I weighed in this photo, it must be less that 10st, possibly 9 and a half. 9 and half seems too far to go, so I set my target of 9st 12lb. I have never seen a 9 on the scales since I bought them, not even sure if it has a 9 in there!!

So in a nutshell I can confirm that there is in fact a 9 on my scales!! In August I weighed 11st 12 (166 lbs). In the following five months I lost 2 stone (28 lbs). Today I weigh 9st 11.5 (137.5 lbs). I am one very happy girl with a wardrobe full of clothes that are way too big but that's not a bad place to be. Have a very happy Monday.

  6. Good for you darling. i would suggest that grey is NOT the best colour to choose when celebrating this huge milestone. Perhaps a fuchsia?
